I just got the game over the sale over the weekend, I am curious on what I should never sale on the gray market. I am also curious on what stuff I shouldn't worry about selling. Also what stuff should I be cautious about selling, only in times of need.
But my main questions is what items should I never sale? Showing 1 - 8 of 8 comments. Last edited by P Thunderbolt ; 17 Sep, pm.

I've got a considerable amount of alien detritus lying around my base: Some items, like the damaged UFO flight computer, are marked as useless and intended for sale without consequence. I haven't played the reboot, but in the original game, it was often necessary to sell everything you could in the early game to get enough money to keep up with demand. This does slow down your ability to build high-end things later on, but saving too much for the future can mean you don't survive to see the future.
Not a bit strong if you've actually played the reboot, and understand how different the economy is. It's nothing like the original. Sold items - not counting council requests - are worth much less relatively speaking here than in the original.
And alien tech is more expensive to manufacture in terms of resource costs. And those resources come in at a slower rate. And that's on normal. You can also freely sell alien entertainment, alien surgery and alien stasis tanks. Do you have a list of "important" corpses to keep around? I haven't finished the tech tree, so I'm not sure what I might need to keep around. I know I need sectoids, floaters, and disks for the interceptor minigame powerups, but until I looked at the Foundry I thought I wouldn't need Muton corpses anymore after the titan armor research also needed for "ammo conservation".
Should I just assume all kinds of corpses will be used by something and keep them all? You know what, I'll start listing these as well. Show 14 more comments. Muton elite corpses are really valuable as they make carapace armor and dragon rounds, though the game is usually over by then anyway. If elerium cores are in demand early then I sell all of them, this is a jackpot. Most other corpses and autopsy research just aren't very special. You need trooper and officer autopsies for proving ground and incendiary grenades.
I do save corpses for research but only when I have more supplies than I can efficiently use. Post by LeaderEnemyBoss » Thu Mar 30, pm I usually try to save up larger corpse piles to wait for that "jackpot" when they are in demand.
With some tricks the odds for this happening in one or two months is actually pretty high. There is also a mod by me, that makes this process less tedious. Post by josna » Fri Mar 31, pm Does anybody render corpses? Post by chrisb » Fri Mar 31, pm I think i've only ever rendered a single trooper corpse early to get the 2 alloys you need in addition to gatecrasher loot to do Hybrid Materials research.
They really start to clutter up the screen. Not sure why it is even a thing.
